In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), this California Employee Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) describes the Personal Information which Lark Technologies, Inc. (“Lark” or “we”) collects about you, and the purposes for its use during and after your working relationship with us. All Lark employees are subject to this regardless of location in anticipated compliance with similar state and national regulations.
This Notice does not form part of any contract of employment or other contract and does not confer any employment status or contractual right on you, or place any contractual obligation on us. Lark may update this Notice at any time.
It is important that you read the Notice and any other privacy notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting Personal Information about you so that you are aware of how and why we are using such information.
The California privacy law known as the CCPA is the first United States-based privacy law that applies across industries, imposing privacy and security requirements for organizations handling California consumer data, including employee data. CCPA establishes business obligations and grants consumer rights over Personal Information. As of January 1, 2020, we are required to disclose to California resident job applicants, employees, contractors, owners, directors, or officers the categories of Personal Information collected in the context of the employment relationship, and the purposes for which the categories of Personal Information shall be used. In this Notice, Lark documents the categories of Personal Information that we collect in the context of the employment relationship and the purposes for which that information will be used.
