Frozen bananas are a naturally healthy alternative to ice cream. People often blend them to make a spoonable treat, but you can make them without a blender for less clean-up and a fun finger food. You’ll get fiber and potassium, too! They're ideal for desserts, snacks, and anytime treats.
Have them plain, or try them with chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts, or any of the other topping ideas for a treat that can still be on your healthy plan. While a typical fruit-flavored frozen bar can have 10-15 or more grams of sugar, plain banana treats, or treats with fruit or nuts, have 0 grams of added sugar. Our other topping suggestions add small amounts of added sugars.
